The TAC BC-C Zone® with Armor Plate Post was designed by world class shooter Bennie Cooley. It is the same size as the IPSC target without the D zone. The 3/8″ thick HEXALLOY 550 steel face withstands thousands of .223 and .308 rounds. The target hangs at a 27 down angle to deflect rounds downward. We bolted the target face to its bracket on purpose. While it may have been easier, it is specifically NOT welded to preserve temper of the steel. This also allows you to do regular maintenance by turning over of target to extend target life. On that note, have you ever wondered when it’s time to turn your target faces over? If you have, you’re in luck! Here is a quick video that discusses how to tell when it’s time to turn the targets around.
This TAC BC-C Zone target has an H-Base that supports an HEXALLOY 550 post that is turned edgewise to the target. The target simply slides onto the top of the post and a horizontal cross bar limits the sideways motion.
This is our best MIL/LE selling target by far. We know of one range in particular that has had these targets on it for more than 10 years. Don’t think they’re just sitting there not getting used either. Those targets get HAMMERED weekly. If you want to spend more time training and less time maintaining, get some of these on your range today!
Here’s a video of the BCC Zone with 2×4 base being shot with full auto 5.56 at about 12y.

This target is one of the few purchases I have made that exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. It is sturdy and elegant at the same time. The weight is heavy enough to be sturdy, but not too heavy to easily move. Not only is the target angled toward the ground, but it can move slightly because it rests on a pivot. This makes it easier to know if you made a hit because the target will move in addition to the gratifying “ding” sound. The extra movement also prevents back splatter and extends its life. The armored post is a great idea. I went shooting with some friends who had targets that weren’t on armored posts and their standard posts were riddled with holes by the end of the day. I also shot these targets at 15 yards with 9mm pistol and had no fragments come back toward me. I bought two of these and I am so glad that I did. I feel like I am much more efficient in my training time. Thanks again for a great product.

We have a private range w 4 bays set up for competitive 3Gun Training. Each bay has a variety of MGM targets. But in each bay we have multiple TAC BCCZ targets. We engage them w .223, 9mm and Slugs. We move them around constantly to set up different stage designs. They are priceless!!! Some of them have been shot regularly for almost 10yrs. With a new coat of paint it is hard to tell the difference from the ones that showed up last month. One of my favorite targets… also, I’ve shot other companies attempt at the BCC and they dont ring or have the report that the MGM target does. There’s no comparison!
…and how can you not love something named after the Legend Mr Bennie Cooley!!!

we like it , shot i t with .223 frangible at 30-50 ft and dimpled the steel , shot it .223 FMJ at same distance and did not get any noticable back splash. I noticed a gouge in the steel post and we didn’t shot any .30 AP or .223 steel insert bullets to my knowledge, somebody must have. just ordered two TACBC-C zone with the 2×4 support, can buy a lot of 2×4 for the cost of replacement post

After seeing the results from the MGM/ Dillon Areo video, (of which I was lucky enough to participate! ) I ordered 2 of the BC Czone and 1 full size IDPA, they are a hit on the range! Everyone that has trained with me has said “shooting steel was the highlight of training” I alwas use steel towards the end of classes. Its a fantastic way to put all the days training into use, and bragging rights are in full effect. The MGM Hexalloy 550 is a beast that stands up to multipal rounds of .22 -7.62 x51 without missing a beat! I’ll be ordering a few more next year. Awesome product Mike! Thank you again.
