The MGM Spinner is a classic in 3 Gun competition. An accuracy and shooter awareness test. The challenge is to spin the target at least one full rotation. Time it wrong and your previous shots were in vain.

The MGM Spinner has 8″ and 10″ MGM Hex HEXALLOY 550 target plates. We made them this way so one is heavier than the other which makes a great experiment with gravity. Of course, the heavier one offsets the balance. The object defeating the Spinner is to get it to rotate completely around in the fewest number of shots. When you shoot the bottom target the top target moves toward you. If you shoot the top target as it begins to swing away from you, it gets more momentum.
We think it’s a pretty simple concept but you’d be surprised. We’ve seen this target eat some peoples lunch. We linked a couple of videos below that will really help you master this little target.
The hardened HEXALLOY 550 targets mount to a 3/8″ steel bracket and rotate on a lubrication zerk fitted machined hub and shaft. The focus you’ll need to get this target spun is what makes it such a great tool. You have to hit the target every time AND you have to hit it at the RIGHT time. And if you only shoot the bottom target it takes forever to get the full rotation.
Great for pistol, but it is just as much fun with bird shot, OO Buck, or your rifle. With a .223, a 30 round mag, and 100 yards, you’ve got your work cut out for you, guaranteed. Challenge your long range rifle skills with this target at 300+ yards. Great for training all levels of shooters – beginners to elite LE, military or competitive shooters. This one gets it done!

I hate this target. It’s well built and reliable. Just a pain in the ass to shoot. Especially at 100 yards in high winds. Did I say how much I hate this target? But it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Get your hits when you’re supposed to and it will work just fine. Start missing, not so much.

Three reasons to choose MGM:
1) the targets are significantly tougher than most, if not all, competitors. I’ve shot in countless matches over the last 15 years, on numerous companies targets. MGM targets are just tougher and last longer than the others.

One of my favorite targets, it is a blast for practicing pistol transitions but is also a TON of fun to shoot from far away with a rifle.
We once put this target at 500 yards for a rifle match and being able to time it properly was both a challenge and a ton of fun.

Update to my last review
Have to say MGM is great. Got a letter today 03/10/23 from MGM. First thought was a credit card breach I was being informed of(only time you ever get a letter from a company). To my surprise it was a thank you letter from Mike himself. Just explaining how he started and he stands behind his products. I thought that was amazing of him. What amazed me most is him stating if you ever have a product you are not satisfied with to let him know. The part that actually blew my mind was he actually left his personal cell number. I have never had that happen in all the years of ordering products from other companies. This proves he will stand 100% behind his products and there for I will stand behind and recommend his company 100% of the time too. Just wanted to add this little bit of information for anyone looking at there inventory. Thank you again guys you all rock.
