Pepper Popper, Split

Made from the same HEXALLOY 550 Brinell hardness steel, the Pepper Popper Split is designed to improve accuracy, and bring a fun target to your training. It is the same size (42” tall) as the standard Pepper Poppers.

Traditionally, the problem with split poppers is, the hinge is so sloppy the halves either overlap at the top, or there is an inch gap at the top. MGM has solved that problem by using a close tolerance machined bushing and a 1″ stainless steel pivot shaft. That feature, coupled with a small amount of adjustment tolerance in the bolt holes allows you to have the target set up perfectly, with the space between the halves exactly the same at the top as it is at the bottom. In addition to using the target as a split popper, the connector plate at the bottom will allow you to fasten the halves together, so it will act like a conventional pepper popper.
