IPSC Flag Target
IPSC Flag Target is a standard USPSA shape with a 6″ hole in the chest. Designed to help your accuracy skills improve, this target will challenge your skills.
The MGM IPSC Flag Target face and hinged plate is constructed of 3/8” HEXALLOY 550 steel for long life and durability. It breaks down into three parts for easy transport to and from the range.
With accuracy development in mind, the object is to shoot through the hole and hit the hinged plate in the back. When this is successfully accomplished, you’ll see a fluorescent red “flag” at the shoulder of the target. The target plate hinge is on an angle such that, after it is shot, gravity will close the door. Again, you have no resetting of the targets. You may want to paint the target plate the same fluorescent red, and for a real challenge for your shooters, designate the remainder of the body as a “no shoot”.
This target utilizes our standard post and base combination, putting the top of the shoulder at 5′ tall. There is a structural tube base, with a structural tube post. The post telescopes on to the top of the base, and on to a tube mounted on the back of the target. You can shoot the post tube anyplace (except at ground level) and you will still be able to slide it off of the target. Usually, if the overlapping area isn’t protected, a misplaced round will dent both tubes, eliminating the possibility of sliding the outer one off of the inner one.

Update: I used this target for an AR match at my club this weekend. It was a big hit ( pun intended )! Set up at 300 meters, it was a challenging target, and worked perfectly with 5.56/223 loads. With the flag painted orange, heart shots were easily seen, even without optics. Everyone said it was a lot of fun to shoot. Thanks, Bob H.

“Just received my IPSC Flag Target, exactly 1 week from placing my order. I am very impressed with your quality and service. I’ll be using this target in an AR match at my club this month. I’ll let you know what the shooters think. Should be a lot of fun.
Thanks, Bob”
