The Flash Target® eliminates long range target resetting, making more time for shooting! The hardened HEXALLOY 550 metal target mounts to a UHMW pendulum and pivots on a lubrication zerk fitted machined hub and shaft. The durable UHMW pendulum allows for swapping out targets of different sizes and shapes depending on your objectives and shooting distance.

The MGM Flash Target® UHMW 4″ – 12″ Targets are made from HEXALLOY 550 target plate and we cut them from 3/8″ thick HEXALLOY 550 plate. We then bolt the steel plate target to a piece of UHMW. UHMW stands for Ultra High Molecular Weight…it’s basically really tough plastic.
The target assembly pivots on a lucubration zerk fitted machined hub and shaft. With the precision cut brackets which are suspended from tube steel legs for great stability, you’ll have this guy set up in a matter of minutes . Flash Target® UHMW 4″ – 12″ Targets options are 4″, 5″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″ HexPlate™.
We put a large white polycarbonate card in front, and hiding behind that is a smaller fluorescent orange card. When you hit the target, the swinging/pendulum motion of the target rotates so you can tell really well when the target has been hit. The white plastic goes down and the orange plastic goes up. When adjusted correctly you’ll be able to call hits even with small calibers at long distances. There is no question about whether or not the target is hit.
The Flash Target® series continues to be used in most major 3-gun events and long range matches across the country. In late 2019 we were up to 5 major long range matches that were utilizing this target without a single target failure. If you’ve ever shot a long range match, you know one thing that really kills a match is a ceasefire so “Mr. Fix it” can go downrange to fix a target. Just like always, we know you’re all about the shooting and less about the working, so here you go! This is another great option!!
If you are looking for larger targets, they use 72″ legs . Our larger targets include 20″, 24″, 30″, 36″, 40″ square and BC-C ZONE® target.

I’ve been shooting 3 gun since 1996. In that time I’ve shot pretty much every type of long range steel target out there. This was one of the first ones I tried and I still haven’t seen anything more reliable and accurate. When set up properly the RO can call hits without issue, and the shooter can see them as well. It doesn’t require batteries, or compressed air. It works the whole match, every time. When I design matches, this is my go to long range target.
